Giving Back: Supporting Durham Cares and the CDF Freedom School Program

We are thrilled to announce that we are donating over 100 school supplies to Durham Cares as part of our ongoing support for the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom School Program. Last summer, we had the privilege of becoming a resource for the program, introducing math and robotics activities designed to inspire students and ignite their passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). We were incredibly grateful to contribute to the program’s mission of empowering students to embrace learning, boost their confidence, and expand their opportunities to explore STEAM topics.

As part of our commitment to supporting the communities we serve and fostering student wellness alongside academic growth, we are proud to contribute these school supplies as a continued demonstration of our dedication to this cause. We have witnessed firsthand the positive impact this program has on students, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of that transformative experience.

This year, we’ve raised funds to gather over 100 school supplies, which we are donating to the program as a sign of our ongoing support. From art supplies to sketch pads to notebooks, we hope these materials will enhance the program’s quality and continue to provide a holistic and engaging educational experience for Durham’s students. These supplies will serve as valuable resources, helping students tap into their creativity and deepen their learning with a variety of tools.

We also hope that our contribution will inspire others to take action and make a difference in their communities.
